The School's Research Committee presents a

Showcase & Exhibition
followed by a Reception

to showcase the variety and quality of higher degree research work being conducted in our School.

All PhD & M.Phil students are strongly encouraged to submit a poster and attend the exhibition and reception with their advisors. This initiative is intended as a modest attempt to begin to build a better culture of research in the School. We see it as only requiring a small contribution from each of us to make what should be an enjoyable event. The idea is for all the research students and staff meet one another and see the kinds of work that we do in a semi-social setting over a drink. While such an event cannot expose the full merits and significance of our research, we believe that all our more specific efforts to build research culture must be founded on a degree of common collegiate feeling and interest in one another's work. We look forward to seeing everyone on 24th August.
